If we compare your age with your cats, they age faster. When a newborn kitty completed one year, she is equal to 15 years of a human’s life. But in the second year, she is equal to 9 years of a human’s life, which means 24 years old. After that, she consistently ages 4 years of human life per year as shown in the table above.

Cat as pet

Cats as pets are easy to maintain compared with dogs. Across the world, the cat is one of the most popular pet animals. There are approximately 500 million cats as pets. In the UK, 51% of adults have cats as pets, according to PDSA. A cat can bring friendship and unwavering love into your life. A feline companion may also improve your heart health and lower your stress levels. Cat ownership may be a very fulfilling experience.

Purring

Purring means making love. A cat will often purr when it is satisfied and happy. Usually, this happens when it is receiving a gentle stroke from its owner. Their purr serves as a means of communication. Although some cats purr when hungry or under stress, purring is not necessarily a sign of happiness.
